WEDJ's: International DJ's at Opium Mar

It´s finally here. One of the biggest DJ party events in Barcelona. It´s happening and it all starts this Wednesday, June 13th at Opium Mar with Joachim Garraud.

Opium Mar Barcelona is a combination restaurant, bar and club known for its amazing location on the edge of the popular Barceloneta beach.  Opium is kicking off the summer with its International DJ event every Wednesday starting June 13th until the 21st of September.  The lineup for this summer is sure to have partygoers, both local and foreign, selling out tickets and filling the clubs wall to wall with excitement. Big names like Kaskade, Afrojack and Nicky Romero will be seen performing on Opium´s stage this summer. The schedule goes as follows, with some dates TBD:

One of the most anticipated DJ´s known worldwide as Armin van Buuren will hit the stage July 12th and will be sure to bring the house down.  Born in The Netherlands, Armin is a Dutch producer and DJ.  He was voted number one in DJ Magazine´s annual top 100 list for 4 years and his 2008 studio album, “Imagine” topped the Dutch album charts at No. 1.  In July 2010, he performed at the Museumplein in honor of the Dutch soccer team. In 2008, he performed at The Jaarbeurs event in Utrecht and in 2008-2009 he performed at the Los Angeles Sports Arena for New Year’s Eve.  This Dutch DJ is no rookie to performing at the world´s biggest festivals, clubs and events. 

Another highly anticipated DJ known as Avicii will perform at Opium Mar on July 25th.  He is a Swedish DJ, mixer and producer and is well known for his singles “Seek Bromance” and “My feelings for you”.  In 2011, he was ranked No. 6 on the Top 100 DJs list by DJ Magazine and his release of “Street Dancer” went straight to No. 1 on the worldwide Beatport charts.

The Dj´s visiting are truly international coming in from countries like Sweden, South America, U.S, France, and The Netherlands.  These performers have collaborated or remixed songs by popular artists such as LMFAO, David Guetta, Usher, Enrique Iglesias and Taio Cruz. 

Wednesday nights at Opium Mar is the place to be this summer in Barcelona.
